For Teachers

From one teacher to another. Ross Smith helps take teachers through a 6 session curriculum that is fun and challenging for all ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE and even HIGH SCHOOL grades!

Each class focuses on one particular soccer skilled area (i.e. passing, dribbling, shooting, etc) and breaks the skill down in a simple way so that teachers will know how to guide their students correctly. In each session, Ross offers three exercises/games to help students practice and work on the focused soccer skill.

Ross is a qualified PE teacher from the University of Rhode Island. Upon graduation, Ross became a substitute teacher in London, England, while pursuing a Professional soccer career. Upon becoming a full-time Pro player, Ross would regularly return to the school/class setting either through a club community initiative or through his development of NTT.

Session #1 - Dribbling

Session #1 - Dribbling

Dribbling the soccer ball sounds easy. Right?  But can your students tell you what makes a good dribbler?? What are the basic mechanics required for a player to be highly skilled in this area?

In this session you will learn:

• Where to properly touch the ball on your foot when dribbling

• What is a big touch vs little touch and where do we use these skills?

• Tricks - how to perform them and when

To practice these skills, we have included three easy-to-follow fun exercises. Jump in and follow Ross as he takes you onto the pitch to show you exactly how he does it!
